This session may support infants with birth tension, flat head concerns, colic discomfort, feeding challenges, breastfeeding difficulties related to tension, trouble settling, preferred head positioning, and overall body tightness. Each session is personalized to your baby’s needs in a peaceful, nurturing environment. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to be present as we discuss your baby’s birth, feeding, comfort, and wellness concerns. We can talk through common procedures, choices you may be offered, and how to feel empowered when making informed decisions for your family. During this visit, we will focus on creating and reviewing your birth plan, discussing your birth preferences, and exploring the options available to help your experience align with your vision. We will talk through labor preparation, comfort measures, and different birth positions that can support your body during labor and help you feel more confident in your choices. We will discuss what to expect as labor approaches, signs of labor, preparing your home and support team, and ways your partner can be involved. This is a time to ask questions, build confidence, and learn tools to help you feel empowered throughout your birth journey. Together, we will prepare you for the transition into labor, birth, and the early days of welcoming your baby.

During this visit, we will focus on creating and reviewing your birth plan, discussing your birth preferences, and exploring options to help your experience align with your vision. At this appointment, we will finalize your doula services, complete your doula contract, collect the non-refundable retainer, and reserve your estimated due date on my calendar. We will also review communication expectations, support details, and what to expect as we move closer to your birth. An informative workshop designed to educate parents on breastfeeding techniques, addressing common challenges and promoting successful feeding experiences. Preparing to breastfeed starts before baby arrives! This hands-on class is designed to help expecting moms feel confident, informed, and prepared for their breastfeeding journey. We’ll talk about what to expect during those first hours and days, newborn feeding cues, positioning and comfortable holds, and common breastfeeding questions. You’ll also have the opportunity to practice different baby-holding and breastfeeding positions using a baby doll so you can feel more comfortable before delivery. We’ll also go over how a breast pump works, including basic pump setup, flange placement, and practical tips for getting started. This is a relaxed, supportive time to ask questions, talk through concerns, and learn what you can do to set yourself and baby up for a positive breastfeeding experience.

A nurturing in-home visit designed to support mom and baby during the first six weeks of your breastfeeding journey. During this visit, we will focus on breastfeeding education, feeding patterns, latch support, positioning, milk supply concerns, pumping guidance, newborn feeding behaviors, and helping you understand your baby’s unique cues.
